Wyoming Workforce Wellness Summit slated for Sept. 9 – 10

Wyoming Department of Health invites business representatives from throughout the state to the annual Wyoming Workforce Wellness Summit Sept. 9 - 10 at the Casper Hilton Garden Inn.

Business owners and managers, wellness program coordinators, occupational and industrial health care professionals, as well as human resources professionals are encouraged to attend.

Two tracks will be offered on the morning of Sept. 9: Track one -- Just Starting Out -- will be for those who are new to workforce wellness and will focus on building the business case and building senior management support. Track two -- Down the Trail -- will be for those who have attended past summits and are already building workforce wellness programs.

Featured speakers include Larry Chapman, Chapman Institute CEO; Jerami Fichter, City of Gillette human resources specialist; Mike Miller, Campbell County School District healthy schools coordinator; Jim Mitchell, Wyoming Department of Insurance attorney; Pete Shatwell, TwoMedicine Health and Financial Fitness director of preventive health strategies; Mark Hicks and Deborah Schiltz, Wyoming Through with Tobacco; John Morgan, Wisconsin Department of Health Services physical activity coordinator; and Carla Moquin, Parenting in the Workplace Institute president.
