Holy moly, what a day. I was in Macy's with my wife returning some jeans she had purchased Thursday. We stopped to look at some watches after a good 30 or 40 minutes of shopping not realizing how crazy the weather had gotten outside. We came to realize it when the power went out, and the mall locked down. Within a rather short amount of time, we had photographers, amateur and otherwise, out and about capturing the rampant flash flooding around town. This is all thanks to Tom Morton, Wes Watson, Kerry Huller, Jake Mitchell, and a little bit of me, too.

As a hub of information in Wyoming, TribTown receives word of wild weather throughout the state all the time. Furthermore, everyone has cameras at hand these days whether it's in your phone or some tiny camcorder. Thus, the WyoWeather group is born. If you shoot something awesome and want the state to see, post it here. Already we have some pics from a tornado seen east of Casper last Saturday. Check them out in the group pictures. Very cool. These were taken by Tom Hammel. Thanks, Tom!
